Online MIDI player with falling notes
Drop a MIDI file into Piano: Soloist and it plays with a grand piano sound, falling notes on a keyboard and a two-staff piano score worked out automatically — hands, note lengths, key signature and pedal. The file never leaves your device.
What you get
- Real piano sound
- A sampled grand piano, with slow-down (0.5×–1.5×) for practice.
- MIDI becomes a score
- The notes are written out as a two-hand piano score you can follow, not just a piano roll.
- Practice with your own keyboard
- Connect a MIDI keyboard (Chrome or Edge on PC and Android) and use Wait mode: the music pauses until you play the right keys.
- Private and unlimited
- Conversion happens in your browser, so there are no upload limits.
How to use it
- Open the app and choose Load score.
- Pick your .mid or .midi file, or drag and drop it.
- It opens instantly with falling notes and a two-hand score.
- Change the speed, switch 2D / 2.5D / 3D, or connect a MIDI keyboard for Wait mode.

FAQ
- Is there a limit on files?
- No. MIDI is converted in your browser, so you can open as many files as you like.
- Why are some hands or note spellings off?
- MIDI has no notation information, so hand splitting and spelling are estimated. MIDI exported from notation software works best.
- Can I export the score?
- Open the MIDI in MuseScore (free) and export MusicXML — or keep playing it here as is.
- What about MIDI files with several instruments or drums?
- Drum tracks are left out, and the other instruments are all played and written as piano.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes, in a modern mobile browser. A MIDI keyboard needs Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android.
- Is it free?
- Partly free. Opening and playing MIDI files is free and unlimited; see "Basic vs Pro" above for every difference.
